A place that needs some freshness. Its located in front of the river that adds a little charm to the old building. It's been a third time here, and thoughts what to get were following me each time. They were out of oysters and gators tails last time. And most of the menu are fried dishes. Found not fried shrimp linguine that was good!

At best a mediocre restaurant. The plastic glasses, plates need replacing. The tables need refinishing. The tableware was the cheapest China can provide. We ordered a “Jumbo Lump Crabcake” for an appetizer, there was no lump in it. It arrived barely warm and full of filler. See the photo. I ordered the clam platter because they were out of oysters even though 99¢ oysters were prominently posted of the Today’s Specials as we walked in. The clams were devoid of taste. My wife got Chicken Piccata and couldn’t eat the noodles. The chicken was a piece of boneless chicken breast. At the end of our meal we were told there was no key lime pie and the credit card machine was not working. Apparently the machine has been down for some time, because our waiter told us the sign blew off the door. We were also not told that there was an 18% gratuity automatically added to the check. I added an additional tip because I didn’t read the receipt throughly. The restaurant was cold inside, but the men’s room was toasty.

I have been here many times over the years, and the food is always really good! Today was the first time I brought the pups. They were each given a complimentary 4 ounce unseasoned beef patty, aka a pup patty! We will definitely be back! Ask for Josh, he was a fantastic server!

Love this restaurant. Great place for drinks and dinner on the Intracoastal. My favorite day to go is on a Saturday when they have live music playing. The rib eye and lobsters were special on the menu when we last went. They were outstanding!
